Amendment of Standard Terms and Conditions - Small Use Commercial Customers - Commercial Gas Supply
Alinta Sales Pty Ltd has amended Clause 3.9 of the Commercial Gas Supply - Small Use Commercial Customer - Standard Terms and Conditions by replacing the clause 3.9 as follows:
3.9 Adjustments for change in gas transportation costs
If a change in gas transportation costs occurs, or new gas transportation costs are imposed, we may adjust the price [including any fixed component or usage component of it] to the extent necessary to reflect that portion of the effect of the new or change in gas transportation costs which we determine is payable by you, [on a basis which we consider to be reasonable and practicable].
This amendment comes into effect on 18 August 2010.
Although the amended clause 3.9 will apply to all customers supplied under the Standard Terms and Conditions - Small Use Commercial Customers - Commercial Gas Supply from 18 August 2010, Alinta intends to exercise its discretion under clause 3.9 to adjust the price to reflect that portion of the effect of the new or change in gas transportation costs that Alinta determines is payable only for customers entering, or renewing, a contract with Alinta on or after 18 August 2010.
