Terms and Conditions for Alinta Assist Offers

General Terms and Conditions applicable to all Alinta Assist Offers

  1. Installation and supply of advertised products is only available through Total Asset Maintenance Pty Ltd [TAM], trading as Alinta Assist. TAM is a franchisee of Alinta Sales. Pty Ltd operating to Alinta's high standards of service and quality. Alinta Assist is an Alinta trademark and is under license by TAM. PL 1625 EC 8548.
  2. TAM reserves the right to withdraw or replace this offer at any time.
  3. Offers are only available while stocks last.
  4. Offers are only available within Perth metropolitan area [40Km radius from Perth GPO] plus Mandurah and surrounds.
  5. All prices include GST.
  6. Should Alinta Assist attend site and the works not be able to be carried out due to illegal location, upgrade required, no access, missed appointment, a standard service fee will be charged of $99.

Terms and Conditions for Same Day Service and Repairs for Plumbing and Electrical Emergency Guarantee

  1. For this guarantee to apply, the customer must report their problem to Alinta Assist before 12pm on the relevant calendar day.
  2. The only emergency services covered by this guarantee are:
    1. blocked sewer drains;
    2. major water leakage;
    3. major gas leak; and
    4. complete power loss [excluding blackouts].
  3. Whether the service required to fix the customer's problem is an 'emergency service', and therefore covered by this guarantee, is at the sole discretion of Alinta Assist.
  4. If a customer reports their problem before 12pm on the relevant calendar day, but the customer requests finance and the finance is not approved prior to 12pm on the relevant calendar day, this guarantee will not apply.

Terms and Conditions for Same Day Emergency Hot Water Replacement Guarantee

  1. For this guarantee to apply, the customer must report their hot water problem to Alinta Assist before 12pm on the relevant calendar day. If the customer reports their problem after 12pm on the relevant calendar day, Alinta Assist will replace the customer's hot water system by 12pm on the following calendar day.
  2. All changeover prices for hot water systems are based on installations taking place during a normal working week. Installations on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays will incur additional after-hours charges.
  3. All changeover prices do not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.
  4. Under this guarantee, Alinta Assist will only replace the customer's existing hot water system with the same or a similar hot water system [i.e. the customer's existing gas storage will be replaced with a new gas storage system].
  5. For this guarantee to apply, the customer's existing hot water system must be located on the customer's premises in compliance with relevant legislation.
  6. If a customer reports their problem before 12pm on the relevant calendar day, but the customer requests finance and the finance is not approved prior to 12pm on the relevant calendar day, this guarantee will not apply.

Terms and Conditions for Price Guarantee

  1. In providing this price guarantee, Alinta Assist will only supply the product and the services specified in the written quote.
  2. This guarantee will only apply if:
    1. the written quote was issued by a plumbing or electrical contractor no more than 30 days prior to the date the customer presents the quote to Alinta Assist; and
    2. the written quote is for a product offered for sale by Alinta and installation of that product in accordance with AS3500 standards.

Terms and Conditions for 12 Months Interest Free Offer

  1. Valid only for items marked as '12 month's interest free'.
  2. Credit provided by Lombard Finance Pty Ltd.
  3. Subject to Lombard Finance Pty Ltd's normal eligibility criteria.
  4. Lombard Finance Pty Ltd's normal fees and charges apply.

Conditions of Evaporative Air Conditioner Service Offer

  1. Evaporative air conditioner service is limited to: removing all side filter pads; washing out with water and general clean; servicing ball valve in bottom tray and testing for correct operation; checking and greasing pump for correct operation; and condition report on unit.
  2. Cost of service is based on a single storey property.
  3. Cost of service is based on safe access to unit as defined by Alinta Assist health and safety policy.
  4. The cost of any replacement parts or labour for installing replacement parts is not included.
  5. Any additional evaporative or reverse cycle/refrigerated air conditioners to be serviced while on site will incur an additional cost of $120 each inclusive of GST.
  6. Payment by cheque, credit card or cash must be made upon completion of the work.

Conditions of Portable Gas Heater Service Offer

  1. Any additional portable gas room heaters to be serviced while onsite will incur an additional cost of $100 each.
  2. The cost of any replacement parts or labour for installing replacement parts is not included.
  3. Payments by cheque, credit card or cash must be made upon completion of the work.

Terms and Conditions of Bosch 10P Instantaneous Hot Water System Offer

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Bosch 10P in place of existing continuous flow hot water system, with the same megajoule rating.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.
  3. The existing hot water system must be located on the premises in compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Disposal of old HWU is not included in the base price.

Terms and Conditions of Bosch 16P Instantaneous Hot Water System Offer

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Bosch 16P in place of existing instantaneous hot water system, with same megajoule rating.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.
  3. The existing hot water system must be located on the premises in compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Disposal of old HWU is not included in the base price.

Terms and Conditions of Rheem 12 Continuous Flow Hot Water System Offer

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Rheem 12 in place of existing instantaneous hot water system with same megajoule rating.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.
  3. The cost does not include the supply and installation of an external power point if required.
  4. The existing hot water system must be located on the premises in compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Disposal of old HWU is not included in the base price.

Terms and Conditions of Rheem 20 Continuous Flow Hot Water System Offer

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Rheem 20 in place of existing continuous flow hot water system with same megajoule rating.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.
  3. The cost does not include the supply and installation of an external power point if required.
  4. The existing hot water system must be located on the premises in compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Disposal of old HWU is not included in the base price.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Vulcan 135L storage system in place of an existing natural gas storage hot water system.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.

  4. Disposal not included.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Vulcan 170L storage system in place of an existing natural gas storage hot water system.
  2. The cost does not include the supply and installation of a tempering valve if required.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Rheem 50L electric storage system in place of existing 50L electric storage system.
  2. Cost does not include tempering valve.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Rheem Stellar 330 storage system in place of an existing natural gas storage hot water system.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of a Rheem 50L electric storage system in place of existing 50L electric storage system.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of Belling 54cm freestanding cooker.
  2. Like for like replacement in same location.
  3. No allowance for electrical works.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of Fisher & Paykel 90cm gas cooktop.
  2. Like for like installation only.
  3. No allowance for electrical works or connections.
  4. No allowance to cut bench tops or upgrade existing gas pipework.
  5. The existing hot plate must be located to meet current legal requirements.

Fisher & Paykel (Elba Range) 60cm Gas Cooktop

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of Fisher & Paykel 60cm gas cooktop.
  2. Like for like installation only.
  3. No allowance for electrical works or connections.
  4. No allowance to cut bench tops or upgrade existing gas pipework.
  5. The existing hot plate must be located to meet current legal requirements.

Terms and Conditions of Stiebel Eltron 3 Stage Water Filter

  1. Cold pipework must be fully accessible under the kitchen sink.
  2. Under-sink cupboard must be emptied by householder before the Alinta Assist technician arrives.
  3. Suitable space must be available for the product to be installed.
  4. Price does not include allowance to cut cupboard shelving if required.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of either Solus Concorde toilet suite [Cistern and Pan in P or S trap].
  2. Price does not include relocation or replacement of mini stop and copper connection if required.
  3. No responsibility will be taken for tiles damaged in removal of old toilet or repair of walls.
  4. No responsibility will be taken for painting of walls following the installation of the product.
  5. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for their residence and existing connections.

Terms and Conditions of Posh Solus Kitchen Mixer Offer

  1. The cost is based on replacement of existing mixer tap in the same location.
  2. Existing mixer must be hob type and be installed in a sink or basin, not in the bench top.
  3. All hot and cold water connections must be accessible in cupboard.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of 1200m ceiling fan to same location as existing light fitting.
  2. No allowance for extending or upgrading electrical cables.

Terms and Conditions of Electrical Safety Switch and Smoke Detector Offer

  1. The cost includes installation of two single phase RCDs on power and/or lighting circuits within an existing circuit board and two smoke detectors.
  2. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for their residence and existing connections.
  3. Should the installation of the new RCD pick up electrical faults with the existing electrical installation to the property, all rectification work is not included in this offer.
  4. Payment by cheque, credit card or cash must be made upon completion of the work.

  1. The cost includes supply and installation of double external power point to external wall of house.
  2. An allowance of up to six metres of electrical cable has been included.
  3. No conduit has been included in this price.
